Tech Training Program
A1 Mechanical has always hired individuals at various skill levels. We hire high caliber people with no previous HVAC experience, seasoned installers or technicians and anyone in between. Our years of training experience have helped us to develop a simple, no nonsense, full featured training program. A1’s training program takes your skill level and matches it within our tiered training progression. We take people with no previous experience and give them the basic skills needed to build them into a well-rounded installer or technician. The ability to take seasoned individuals, catch them up with our standards and get them the training and certifications needed is what sets us apart.
We use a tech level program that allows individuals to clearly see where they are going as well as where they have been. This is a clear, simple laid out path to tech excellence. Each tech level comes with added knowledge, certifications and compensation. We achieve this with not only on the job training but also monthly “First Friday” and “Third Thursday” in class training times. These classes are used to discuss standards, do hands on learning in our fully functioning Training Room, and bring in experts to teach about specific products in our industry.

Giving Back (Community Involvement)
Giving back to the communities where we live and work is important to our team. We support each other and do our best to help carry each other’s burdens. We have supported projects such as St. Jude’s Hospital for Children, Extreme Home Makeover, Toys for Tots and Center Lake Bible Camp. We’ve provided new furnaces for disadvantaged families and do our best to help our neighbors in their time of need.

We’ve developed an amazing company culture over the years and take the time to celebrate our employees’ work anniversaries, birthdays and other milestones with the entire team.
